• Description:

  Embark on this epic space adventure with us and journey to System 3, for the prequel to one of Ubisoft’s most beloved games!

  In Beyond Good & Evil 2, you are your own space pirate captain who is free to choose your own path in this vast open space opera universe.

  I'm currently working on this project as a Game Designer (Character Combat & Navigation).

• What I did:

  Since September 2025 — Game Designer, Combat & Navigation

  • Working within the core team of Montpellier, mainly as a Combat Designer.
  • Designing new game systems for characters, and working on the melee combat system.
  • Implementing combat animations, gameplay markers and hitboxes alongside the Animators.
  • Working closely with the AI Designers on enemy behaviors, attacks, archetypes and bosses.
  • Iterating on the gamefeel through many aspects — animations, hitstop, haptics, VFX, SFX.
  • Writing the technical documentation of all the features and topics I have ownership of.
  • Gameplay tweaking and balancing on a daily basis, directly in the Game Engine.

  January to June 2020 — Junior Game Designer, 3C

  • Working within the core team of Montpellier, as a Junior Game Designer (3C).
